OVERVIEW

OUR MIDDLE YEARS

Encouraging Students To Explore & Make Connections.

Grade 6 to 8 (Ages 11 – 14)

The Middle Years at KB School focuses on supporting young confident adults to reach their potential, in line with our mission, vision and our commitment to ensuring academic care for all. Our Grade 6 to 8 curriculum is designed to meet the academic, personal, and cultural needs of our students and better equip them for future challenges, while at the same time creating enjoyable learning environments that inspire and motivate them. Students follow a broad and balanced range of subjects that are linked to the CBSE but modified to create courses appropriate for international education.

“Our focus on involvement outside the classroom alongside academic excellence aims to create the opportunity for students to become world changers in both their local and global communities.”

KB School follows a multidisciplinary Middle Years Curriculum that integrates various subjects into a cohesive learning experience. The curriculum aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of different disciplines, including languages, math, science, social sciences, and the arts. The curriculum encourages students to think critically and creatively, problem-solve, and establish connections between different subjects.

The curriculum is flexible, allowing the school to tailor its approach to meet the specific needs of its students. The school offers a range of subjects relevant to the local context and culture, promoting a personalized learning experience.

KB School prioritizes experiential learning, allowing students to apply what they have learned in real-world situations. This includes internships, project-based learning, and other forms of hands-on learning. The curriculum aims to develop leadership skills, effective communication, and collaboration among students.
